In principle the proposed works as described in the planning application has no adverse effect on the scale and character of the dwelling.

Based upon the proposed planning application it clearly does not require access to our property, and given that we have not been consulted prior to this application being submitted we do not expect that access is required.

From the outset we would like to make our position clear, that being, we will not allow access to our property which will compromise our amenity and privacy, and particularly our security and safety.

The proposed application states that it will not affect the dwelling?s existing off street parking arrangements. That said, it should be noted that there are limited parking spaces within the cul-de-sac on Tormead Road and parking restrictions (i.e. yellow lines). I expect that the proposed development will not compromise the parking restrictions and safe movement and flow of traffic in the cul-de-sac, and that the parking restrictions are enforced by Guildford Borough Council. Our amenity, privacy and access to our property could be compromised by vehicles parking on yellow lines directly outside our property during construction.
