I object to the planned garage as I feel that this would have an adverse effect on the residential amenity of my property, the garage will be excessively large and extremely visible from my rear garden. The inevitable noise disturbance from motor vehicles entering and leaving this would render my rear garden unusable.

The garage and hard standing will result in the loss of nearly half the rear garden, whereas using the existing garage location would not. The shear bulk of this structure is totally out of keeping with the small cottages in this neighbourhood.

The inclusion of such a large garage and driveway in the rear of the property I believe constitutes over development of the site. As does the substantial rear dormer and the size gain of the property and would result in the loss of a ?small dwelling?

The Visual impact of the garage and the unsightly dormer arrangement will have a detrimental effect on my garden and my property as a whole.

The extensive area of car parking shown is totally out of keeping with the surrounding properties? the plans refer to permeable paving which is unlikely to work on the heavy Clay soil found on ?Clay lane? and will therefore add to the flood risk in this area.

There is no need for such a large garage and hard standing in a domestic residence and I am concerned that if this scheme is allowed to go ahead the property will resemble a car dealership!
