I would like to object to the construction of these 3 properties. Whilst I don't object completely to the demolition of the existing property and perhaps the construction of a single property of similar size, the scale of what is being proposed will cause serious issues for the road.

The road is single track and already overcrowded with cars. Adding potentially another 6 cars will cause complete chaos, not only in terms of access, but also in terms of it's quality (it is already lined with potholes).

The proposed design of the 3 houses is also overbearing and seemingly trying to squeeze as much as possible into the space available. I am also concerend it might cause issues with light with regard 6-6b

Finally I object on moral grounds; It doesn't sit very well with me, in terms of plans being put afoot to demolish the home of the elderely lady who resides at No.7 to "cash in" which seem to go against her previously expressed wishes.

Please note: This objection comes from 6 Ivor Close - our address doesn't exist on your system. Selecting 6 Guildford, GU1 2ET causes an error as does selecting "Other Address"

I'd like to object to this application on the grounds that the proposed property is overbearing in relation to the houses (one of which is ours) that sit alongside it.

The road, being effectively a single track road can't sustain another 3 properties if each have a car. It's already difficult at times getting in or out of the road.

Fundamentally however I object to this property, given that the current owner - a very elderly lady is still resident in the property, and it is my understanding that she doesn't approve of this develpoment despite the property actually being hers. I find this morally wrong that these plans should be made / allowed whilst she is still alive and kicking.

I wish to object to this application on the grounds that the development is oversized for the plot available and is also likely to restrict light to neighbouring properties. The plans suggest parking for 6 cars - Ivor close already has very narrow access which does not allow for passing cars and is in a poor state due to the already fairly heavy traffic flow. The increase in the number of properties and their associated parking will have a further detrimental effect on the noise and condition of the road, in addition to creating further access problems in the already tight turning circle at the end of the Close.

I would like to object to the construction of these 3 properties for the following reasons:-

1. I think that the proposed design of the 3 houses is overbearing and out of proportion. I am also concerned it will cause issues with light to my property at 6a (light is already restricted by a tree to the other side of the house) and the proposed properties would overlook all existing properties at the end of the Close.

2. The scale of what is being proposed will cause serious issues for the road and inconvienence for those living in the Close, particularly at the end. The road is single track, has no lighting at all with fences protruding very close to the edge of the road in places, and is already overcrowded with cars. Adding several additional cars will cause significant issues for access. Currently, most visitors to the Close use at least a portion of my drive or those of 6 or 6b to turn round. Visitors also park directly opposite making it difficult to get either in or out. Manovering into the parking spaces is already very tight. The road itself is of extremely poor quality and is not maintained to any acceptable standard. This will all be made materially worse by the proposals.
